Klezmer - first klezmer I heard was an early revival band 'Zmiros'. My father had a dodgy tape of their album 'In the Street'. First played klezmer tunes with an international band in Budapest 20 years ago and a street band in London. Then helped Tim Israel found a collective of klezmer musicians which became Klezmer Klub.
Life - I divide my time between East London and Paris where I teach English at Versailles University.
